<image:caption>I am a Certified Professional Coach (CPC). I completed my training locally at the ICF accredited Invite Change with their 16 month CPC program in Transformational Coaching. I current hold a current credential of Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). This reflects my dedication to providing high-quality, ethical coaching that creates a safe, supportive environment for clients. With 10 years as a professional landscaper and 25 years of experience in the tech industry, including time at Microsoft (10 years), Amazon (5 years) , Groupon (4 years) and Apple, I incorporate tools like Needs-Based Awareness (NBA), Emotional Intelligence, and elements of Nonviolent Communication aka Collaborative Communication (NVC) to empower you beyond our sessions, ensuring growth and clarity throughout your journey. Transitioning from blue-collar work to the tech industry in my 30s taught me invaluable lessons about imposter syndrome, boundaries and saying “no” gracefully. I learned about servant leadership in high school youth group of all places, and find the echoes of what I learned there in the secular business version of servant leadership. As my professional career grew in the tech industry as a Quality Assurance Analyst, from Microsoft to Amazon, I became aware of the massive push for people to judge their lives by how “productive” they are. Having watched “productivity” devolve into just being “busy” I began to look into redefining productivity for myself. I encourage all my clients to so the same. “Being busy” is not the same as being productive. After a year of working 6 day weeks early in my career at Microsoft, and realizing my early-career mistake of missing all that family time, I learned the lesson that the corporation will take whatever you give (time management and work-life balance are yours to define), With the advent of AI, and the massive push by almost all tech companies to blindly run down this path, and as I was working to wedge more AI into Siri at Apple in 2025, I realized I would no longer work in the tech industry, severely limit my personal use of AI online where possible, and moved to the education of humans. Currently, in the mornings, I am a paraeducator at local school district working with special needs students in a vocational program and I am currently pursuing my Master in Teaching, Special Education degree (2026,27). In the afternoons and evenings I am a professional coach. (AI-free zone: All rambling sentences, misspellings, and poor grammar are my own.)</image:caption>

<image:caption>Growing up on a farm and now with 30 years of living and working in Seattle’s urban neighborhoods, I’ve seen and heard a great deal. While I may not have heard everything, very little surprises me. Whatever you bring, we can explore it, create a plan, and move forward together. If you know what your current challenge is, we can dive right in. If you’re still finding the words to express what you seek, we’ll get there together with ease, humor, and empathy.</image:caption>

<image:caption>“Partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership. We all have goals we want to reach, challenges we’re striving to overcome and times when we feel stuck. <image:caption>“For magic consists in this, the true naming of a thing.” ― Ursula K. LeGuin, A Wizard of Earthsea My approach is client-centered, keeping your needs, goals, and values at the forefront. Together we will create a space in which asking hard questions - the ones we work so diligently to avoid - can be asked. We will work just as hard at finding those hard answers as well, and growth though exciting, is often challenging to those various sacred cows you may knowingly or unknowingly hold. But sacred cows are for tipping* With the understanding that all power is in the present moment, I will work with just about anyone that is ready to do the work. By whose values and rules are you living? Yours, or ones you just inherited and work so hard to maintain, yet you never chose them. What is holding you back? What is silencing your voice? What is constraining your choice? *Cow tipping is the purported activity of sneaking up on any unsuspecting or sleeping upright cow and pushing it over for entertainment. This is an urban legend. I grew up on a farm, and learned to not disturb cows while they are sleeping.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Starfish of Resilience - Starfish of Resilience</image:title>
<image:caption>The Starfish of Resilience is a journey to adding resilience to your life and in the process, you will remove that which is not serving you and add back in time, space, and awareness to create your best life. Simply read through the workbook, do the exercises as you come to them, and easily begin to integrate the 5 arms of the Starfish of Resilience into your life to make space for happiness. Happiness is a habit. Research has shown that those people who are happy, have just made a habit of it. That they have kept their power to chose how they react to events in their lives, and this gives them more resilience, puts spring in their step, and gives them the authority to move through life with authenticity, awareness and power. Make room for happiness. Making small, incremental changes, allowing a new perspective, and making a different choice, can give a person the added zest to manifest a satisfying and happy life. Once you start to integrate the five area practices in your life, you will feel your batteries start to re-charge over-night. Does that seem like a fair trade-off? A few minutes of effort that you choose, to get your power back, and to better handle that endless To-Do list that never seems to get shorter. Learn to respond to life and challenges with generosity and power. As you implement the 5 Arms of the Starfish in your life – you will grow to understand, and get clarity on, what is important to YOU and how to prioritize what is needed to create your best life! How is your life now? Are you a person for who life is just an endless to-do list. No matter how many chores you complete, other items are added to the list? How is your current happiness? Are you satisfied with your life today just as it is? Do you beat yourself up for broken promises to yourself? Wouldn’t it be better to learn to be your own best supporter? Leashed to your devices? Are you caught in the modern hassle, that technology promises to make things easier but instead it has just added more tasks and more of you time each day? Does your device control your attention and purpose each day? With each ding and chirp, does your device pull you here and there as you put out each fire that comes up? Each task just another box to check off? Today's environment can be very tech-heavy. Our attention being constantly pulled from one thing to another – and we follow it along like a small fish being buffeted in the sea. Over time, as we have gotten used to (or numb to) this environment – we add more and more things to do and think we are doing so well, so efficient, so productive. Multi-tasking is a lie We've been living for years now under the siren song of how more efficient we will be if we stay connected constantly to 5 or more ways of communicating at work – thereby enabling multitasking! Texting, Instant Message, Email, Chat app, project tracking app, and even maybe *gasp* old-fashioned voice phone calls. We’ve been inundated with the multi-tasking lie now for decades, and the data is coming in. Multitasking is a lie. Our attention is divided, its getting harder and harder to give anything our full attention. Depression rates have sky-rocketed, users steeping in constant screen-time are less satisfied than their peers from previous generations. Where is our attention? Industry has gotten good at designing the devices we use, the apps we download, the commercials that pop up in front of us on our smartphones, on our streaming videos, our TVs, and even while we are filling our cars up a the gas station, telling us what we are missing and what to buy. Add to that the social media posts, twitter feeds and 24-hour news cycles, screaming at us about what we should be worried about. External forces are constantly vying for our attention. all of which are designed to take advantage of how our brain works and how we process viewing faces, clicking buttons, and getting “likes” on our social media posts, all while the news media streams in at a fever pitch day in and day out making everything a disaster so we turn and look or scroll and click, all for advertising time sold. What if you chose where to put your attention? Do you find yourself feeling as though you are pressed to the windshield, heading down the road full speed with no time to catch your breath as you try to get through each day’s demands on your time? Do you feel like you are looking out at life whizzing by, with just enough time to swat at each thing as it comes up? Running from task to task and feeling more behind with each day? Are you feeling over-worked? Distracted? Scheduled to the max? No free time? At the beck and call of your devices? Stressed and unhappy? ….and need help to see the possibility of it getting better?</image:caption>

<image:title>MoonFish of Action - Create Your Moon List</image:title>
<image:caption>Using a Moon List is a process of goal setting, new habit formation, and creating change, all by getting clear on our goal and tracking progress by the lunar cycle. Each phase of the moon keeps us accountable. We are reminded when we look up and see the moon, that we have a list of actions and goals that are important to us. Adding awareness of the lunar cycle to our lives, and making time to step outside, look up, and check in, syncs our lives up with a long-term, slower, steady cycle that can help balance against the speed of today’s digital world. Looking up and seeing the moon, we are reminded of our goals, aspirations and current affirmations. The videos below walk you through the entire process.</image:caption>

      <image:title>VCA Intro - The Verdant Cycle Affirmations</image:title>
<image:caption>If you have arrived here looking for my affirmation booklet published last year, I have pulled it on the Autumn Solstice, Sept 21st, 2025. I will be putting the PDF version that utilized my own words and my own simple artwork, back up here by end of March 2026. When completing my booklet last year, I followed the siren call of AI. I utilized AI for the artwork instead of using my own, I used AI to edit the copy, including adding aggressive sales blurbs, but not the actual affirmations, visualizations and prayers. After working on LLMs and AIML for the last year, and watching what is happening, I have developed serious educational, developmental and spiritual concerns in what we as humans will lose if we continue down this path. I believe so strongly in it that I have left the tech industry after 25 years. Those of us who grew up before smart phones and now AI, learned how to train our minds to work for us to accomplish things. With AI, younger generations will not develop their brains. Thinking and understanding is hard work. Nowadays just take a pill to feel better! and now its "“Why work to generate that story or idea on your own? Just plug a few “prompts” in and watch it create that for you in 5 seconds! This will lead to no good. The use of smart phone navigation apps have already caused brain changes with people who used to have more developed spacial reasoning parts of their brains. Our attention spans are getting even shorter. We are drowning in content as a species. Unplug, turn off and go out side! -Eric</image:caption>
